So I'm going to level with you:
We've already raised more than $5 million since Iowa. Woo-hoo! I'm so grateful for your support.
But our movement needs critical funds so I can remain competitive in this race through Super Tuesday. That's when a third of the delegates will be decided — so what we do now matters more than ever.
We're setting an ambitious goal of raising $7 million before the Nevada caucuses next week. Now, this is our biggest goal yet and will make February our biggest fundraising month ever — but I believe this grassroots movement can do it.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for being a grassroots donor and for everything you've already chipped in. We're down to the wire right now, and if you can, I'd be grateful if you could help hit this next target, too.
If this were another campaign, I'd be flying to Silicon Valley to raise money from deep-pocketed donors. Some candidates are probably doing that this week.
But I'm relying on grassroots donors like you — no fancy closed-door fundraisers with the wealthy and well-connected, just people chipping in what they can, when they can.
That's how we're going to make big, structural change — and make Washington work for everyone, not just those who can write ginormous checks to campaigns.
