Spa day

We had so much fun with all the girls at the spa today! Rosabelle liked the steam room the best. We are having fun I Spokane, but are missing Danny. Thank goodness for skype.

All shook up

Top 3 places you don't want to be during an earthquake: a glass store, an elevator, mid PAP smear. That's right, during today's 5.4 magnitude earthquake today I had a small Asian woman between my legs. Luckily Dr. Chan and I both came out unscathed. Although, I did have to stand in the doorway in a paper sheet which I could have done without.

In other news, I had my 32nd birthday this week and it was terrific. Danny gave me a lots of great presents including a new Mac Book, woo hoo! Posting just seems sweeter on my new computer. Now don't all of you Republicans be too jealous, but I also got Barack Obama's book and a donation in my name to his campaign which enters me to win a trip to Denver for the convention and to meet Barack backstage. Keep your fingers crossed!

Tomorrow Rosabelle is going to take her first airplane ride! We are heading up to Spokane for a week to chill with the fam. I am excited to go, but slightly nervous to travel with her by myself. Is 6 weeks too young for Nyquil?

One month down!

Wow, so we made it through the first month! It went by so fast, but it was so much fun. We have gotten Rosabelle on a pretty good schedule and it feels like we have gotten into a nice groove. I don't want to jinx it, but she is such a good sleeper. I am so lucky she usually only gets up once a night and then she will go right back to sleep after I feed her. I even enjoy the late night feed since the house is mostly quiet, minus the nightly cat rodeo, and it's just me and her listening to the rhythmic snores of her father. OK, so maybe it's not so quiet, but it does feel like a special time, except when you have to change a massive poop bomb at 3 am. She had a messy diaper the other night that was epic. I probably should have turned the light on, but I think I was afraid to see this thing fully lit. I thought I did a good job cleaning her up, but in the morning I discovered poo on her pj's, poo crusted to her leg and poo on the wall. Next time I'll turn on the lights. Danny has been amazed by the sheer volume of poo that can come out of one little person. The cats are equally impressed.

Danny and I had our 4 year wedding anniversary this week. I am so lucky to have married him. He is he best husband and is the awesome father I always knew he would be. For our anniversary we got new iPhones! They are soooo cool. So all the pics from this post are from the camera on my iPhone. We are gonna try and do a 1 month photo shoot today with the D60. So I'll post some more this week.

Sleeping Angel

Since everyone is doing sleeping baby posts, I thought this would be a
good test post from my new iPhone.

Holiday Weekend

I know, it's Thursday and I'm just now getting to update about the 4th of July, but we have had some technical difficulties and not to mention having my hands full with a new baby now that all our visitors are gone. It was awesome having DaNae and Ben come visit, but we especially enjoyed getting to see Ella. She is so cute and so much fun. Everyone love having her around, Lilly even let her pet her. Ella would keep asking "Where a Lilly go?". DaNae did her best to try and spoil my baby by holding her constantly so we've had Rosabelle in reprogramming since they left.

Amanda & Chris and their kids made a special guest appearance on Saturday and it was so fun to see them. Danny, Ben, Chris and Kahner started a band. Kahner already has the makings of a rockstar...he's already got the haircut. Kailiyah is such a little sweetheart. I am totally lobbying for them to move to Cali.

And speaking of cousins...my cuz Najeh Davenport has been cut from the Steelers. It'll be interesting to see what Coach Tomlin has in store for a power back. We have been catching Rosabelle up on her Steelers Football history. She still can't believe Big Ben didn't wear a motorcycle helmet.

Anyway, here are a few highlights from the weekend:

Rosabelle's First Tub Bath

We woke up this morning to find Rosabelle's umbilical cord trapped deep inside her onesie. So..... bath time! Here's some highlights:
