If you’re in a place where you can make a contribution to support my re-election campaign today, it will be a huge help.

Pundits, strategists, and special interests will look for any signs of weakness as they plan on where to invest in 2024.

I'll get right to it, Danielle: If you're in a place where you can make a contribution to support my re-election campaign today, it will be a huge help. Now, you might be wondering why exactly a donation in November 2023 is so important. Let me explain:

We're about to enter a critical election year. The amount that we raise right now will help determine how strong our momentum can be as we start 2024, and how much we can invest in campaigning for our plans.

We not only have to spend the next year fighting back against MAGA extremism — but also against a system that benefits from the status quo and says that big change is "impossible."

That's why I'm running for re-election — to stop MAGA extremism, build on the progress we've made so far, and deliver the big, structural change our country still needs.

I'm talking with people across Massachusetts about the issues affecting their families and campaigning for bold policies that will transform the lives of working people across the country.

Policies like creating affordable child care and housing. Holding big corporations accountable and bringing down costs. Reimagining our tax code and passing a wealth tax.

But first, we've got to win this race. Pundits, strategists, and special interests will look for any signs of weakness as they plan on where to invest in 2024. That's why it's incredibly important that we hit all of our grassroots fundraising goals right now so we can run a strong campaign for our plans.

So before tonight's end-of-month fundraising deadline, can you please make a contribution of $100 or anything you can to ensure we hit our November 2023 goal and we can prepare to campaign for big, structural change in 2024?

This is a perfect reminder that “radical” plans CAN happen

Many people said this would never happen.

Danielle, the first bill I introduced when I got to the Senate in 2013 was to make student loans more affordable so that Americans would not continue to get crushed by debt.

And shortly after I launched my campaign for president, one of the first plans I released was to cancel student debt and ensure free technical schools, community colleges, and public universities.

Across the country, in selfie line after selfie line, I heard stories from so many people — with tears in their eyes — explaining how much debt they were in, and how much this plan would mean for them.

Another thing I kept hearing, though, over and over and over, was "Great idea, but that will never happen."

Well, this week, 813,000 borrowers received an email from President Biden with the words "Congratulations — your student loan has been forgiven."

This is a perfect reminder that "radical" plans CAN happen, when we fight for them. We got organized and got a broad-based student debt cancellation plan to the president's desk. Even though the Supreme Court substituted politics for the rule of law by striking it down, we're still persisting, and President Biden has still been able to cancel around $127 billion in student debt so far for nearly 3.6 million borrowers. I'm staying in the fight to lift this crushing burden from more people's shoulders.

We can keep proving the naysayers wrong. We can keep showing what it looks like to make our government work for everyone, not just the wealthy and well-connected. It doesn't all happen overnight, but it gets done because we fought side by side as a grassroots movement.

Danielle, we can continue making big, structural change like this. We can make a wealth tax, universal child care, Supreme Court reform, and so much more possible. We just need to build our momentum, organize, and keep fighting side by side. So before our November fundraising deadline, can you pitch in $100 or anything you can to hit our goal and power our movement forward?

Danielle, once you start talking about helping working people instead of powerful special interests or ultra-wealthy corporations, plenty of critics will be quick to tell you what you can't do and what's not possible.

But these ideas are popular. In a democracy, that matters. And the more change we make, the more momentum we build — by showing we can use the power of government to transform people's lives.

We need to keep laying out bold plans, and here's the absolutely critical part: We need to be willing to fight for them.

I'm going to keep fighting with everything I've got — but nobody gets this done on their own.

That's why I'm asking if you can pitch in to keep growing our movement and support our re-election campaign. If it makes sense for you right now, please make a donation before our end-of-month deadline tomorrow.

Thanks for being a part of this,

Elizabeth

We should not be rubber-stamping Trump tax cuts for giant businesses.

I'm doing everything I can to end these corporate tax breaks.

Danielle,

Donald Trump's massive tax breaks for billionaires and giant corporations were bad enough — but now lobbyists are trying to make them even worse.

You see, some of the corporate tax cuts in the 2017 law came with expiration dates. But here's the thing: Republicans didn't actually think those giveaways would expire. They added expiration dates to shrink their bill's price tag, but they expected future Congresses to renew the tax breaks endlessly.

Right on cue, as three of the biggest giveaways are starting to expire, corporate lobbyists are working overtime in Washington to get them extended. Not on my watch. I'm fighting to make our country work for working people, not just the rich and powerful, and I'm doing everything I can to end these corporate tax breaks.

Now, lobbyists claimed that these three giant giveaways — bonus depreciation, R&D expensing, and the net interest deduction — were really important, because they'd spur American investment. But now we have data on how they've worked. Turns out, corporations used their extra cash to spend trillions on stock buybacks and dividends. So much for new investments.

One more thing: like they did in 2017, and like they've done so many times before, corporate lobbyists are asking for a temporary extension of these tax breaks — to make them look cheaper than they actually are. But they have every intention of pushing Congress to extend these tax cuts again and again and again, so their wealthy clients will never actually have to pay the bill.

Look, I get it: extending corporate tax breaks is really good for massive corporations. But it's really bad for the American people. We should not be rubber-stamping Trump tax cuts for giant businesses.

I'll keep doing everything in my power to make sure millionaires, billionaires, and giant corporations are paying their fair share. Last year, Congress passed my minimum tax on massive corporate profits, and I'm running for re-election to stay in the fight for plans like a wealth tax on fortunes greater than $50 million. I'm also working to end lobbying as we know it so big money won't have so much power in Washington.

And I'm able to stay in these fights because I'm shoulder to shoulder with people like you, Danielle. Can you help grow our grassroots campaign and support my re-election with a donation of $100 or any amount?
