Over time, a democracy with political campaigns funded by a small number of people who can contribute a lot of money looks very different from a democracy with campaigns funded by a large number of people who chip in a little at a time.

Danielle, I'm deeply grateful for every grassroots donor who chips in to help power our movement — because funding our campaign from the grassroots level makes a powerfully important difference.
