Before Wednesday's debate, Mayor Bloomberg announced that the race for the Democratic nomination should be between him and Bernie Sanders. Well, Danielle, I take exception to that.
My entire life, I have been told to sit down and be quiet. I'm going to keep fighting.
I'm going to keep fighting because we need the best nominee possible to beat Donald Trump — a nominee with rock solid values, who knows how to fight, and can make big, structural change.
And I'm going to keep fighting because working families all across this country deserve a president who will fight for them.
Mayor Bloomberg will probably spend another $100 million to try and erase everyone's memory of what happened on the debate stage this week. I'm asking for your help today to make sure his voice isn't the only one that's heard in this primary.
Mayor Bloomberg asked Democrats to count me out. But he doesn't know that I've been winning unwinnable fights all my life.
I won the fight to create a consumer agency to keep banks from cheating working people. I won the fight to hold corporate executives accountable in the Senate.
And I won the fight to take back a Senate seat from a popular incumbent Republican after starting out 17 points down.
Pundits have said that the race against Donald Trump is unwinnable. And they're going to keep saying it — right up until we get in the fight, we persist, and we win.
