This is the most critical time for our organizers and volunteers to be talking directly with voters and caucus-goers. And it takes real resources to bring as many people as we can into this movement.
With yesterday's poll showing the race a dead heat, every contribution could make the difference. That's why it's so important we hit our weekly fundraising goals and boost our organizing and advertising efforts week over week through the caucuses.
When we launched this campaign just over a year ago, we knew it wouldn't be easy — the rich and powerful are doing whatever they can to stop our momentum — but we're not slowing down now.
We're going to keep running this campaign the same way we have since day one — meeting voters where they are, speaking with them about our plans for big, structural change, and giving them a reason to come out and vote.
And even though the pressure is on, we're going to stick to building our movement the right way: no closed-door only-for-wealthy-donors fundraising events, and no donations from Washington lobbyists, corporate PACs, or PACs of any kind.
Danielle: The work we need to do right now — knocking on doors, buying ads, making calls, hosting events, meeting people where they're at and sharing our plans for big, structural change — is only possible through grassroots donations. And we need another boost if we're going to hit our goal before tonight's deadline.
