Early voting is getting underway in some states and the first primaries and caucuses are just a few weeks away. It's the home stretch, Danielle, and one of the most powerful tools we have to connect with voters and caucus-goers in the leadup to primary season is our advertising program — sharing Elizabeth's message on television, in newspapers, on the radio, online, and more.
We've made big investments already. But the truth is, we were outraised last quarter, and so far Bernie Sanders and Pete Buttigieg have outspent our campaign on TV ads in Iowa and other critical early states.
Elizabeth needs our help to close the gap. We're making more investments every day based on how many grassroots contributions we receive to emails just like this one.
There's still time to turn things around — we crunched the numbers and set a goal of 398 contributions from California today to give our advertising budget the boost it needs to start closing the gap.
Danielle, unlike other candidates, Elizabeth doesn't take money from Washington lobbyists, or PACs. She only relies on grassroots donations from supporters like you to power this campaign.
