50-50

Danielle,

Right now, there's only one Senate seat separating Minority Leader Mitch McConnell from Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.

In fact, he's already fantasizing about taking his obstruction to new heights if Republicans reclaim control of the Senate.

During a radio interview last month, he warned that under a Republican-controlled Senate, it's "highly unlikely" that a Biden-nominated Supreme Court justice would be confirmed in 2024. Even though he just jammed Amy Coney Barrett onto the bench while people were already voting in 2020. But it gets worse: he refused to commit to allowing a vote on a nominee if a seat opened in 2023.

We can't let Republicans take back the Senate. So let's help shore up support for one Democrat the GOP has already got their sights on: my friend Senator Raphael Warnock of Georgia.

Senator Warnock is up for re-election next year. The GOP has begun pouring millions in dark money against him. And because he doesn't take a dime from corporate PACs, he's counting on the support of a grassroots movement to fight back.

Side by side, we can protect Raphael Warnock's seat, expand our majority in the Senate, and fight back against Mitch McConnell's obstruction. So Danielle, if making a financial contribution makes sense for you right now, I'm asking you to chip in. Please split a donation between Reverend Warnock's campaign and Warren Democrats today.

Senator Warnock flipped Georgia blue in one of the closest races of the 2020 election — delivering the majority to the Democrats in the Senate and becoming the first Black Senator from Georgia. But Republicans didn't respond to their loss at the ballot box by listening to voters, or by adjusting their policies to try to bring in more support and help more people.

No. Instead, across the country, the GOP has responded by lying about voter fraud and passing a sweeping set of restrictions to make it harder for Georgians to vote, especially Georgians of color.

Now, Senator Warnock's campaign is organizing year-round to make sure every Georgian's voice is heard in the midterms — and all the while, he and I are fighting to pass the For The People Act to protect and expand voting rights and defend against the GOP's countless voter suppression laws.

Danielle, if the January runoffs taught us anything, it's that early groundwork – ad time, voter registration, field organizing – is the tipping point in close elections. But in order to make those early investments, Senator Warnock is counting on the support of a grassroots movement.

If you're able to, I'd be grateful if you could pitch in right now to help re-elect Reverend Warnock and support Warren Democrats like him up and down the ballot. $15 or whatever you can chip in today would make a real difference to protect our majority.

Thanks for being a part of this,

Elizabeth
