Just a little bit short

We're still just a little bit short of our July fundraising goal, and the end-of-month deadline is coming right up at midnight tonight.
Warren Democrats

Danielle, we'll keep this quick:

We're still just a little bit short of our July fundraising goal, and the end-of-month deadline is coming right up at midnight tonight.

Can you chip in $15 or whatever makes sense for you to help re-elect Elizabeth and grow our movement for big, structural change?

If you've saved payment info with ActBlue Express, your donation will process automatically:

Every donation is another sign that we're in this fight by Elizabeth's side — to root corruption out of Washington, hold billionaire CEOs and powerful interests accountable when they cheat people, and deliver results like quality, affordable child care and canceling student debt.

And every $15 goes a long way towards hitting this goal for July, so we can stay on track to protect and expand our razor-thin Democratic majorities in the critical midterm elections.

If you're able to, please make a donation before the midnight deadline.

Thanks for everything,

Team Warren

The pause on student loan debt payments is running out

Alongside Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley, I'm urging President Biden to extend the payment pause and cancel student loan debt.
Warren Democrats

Danielle,

Tick-tock, tick-tock. In about two months, over 30 million Americans will have a bill coming due.

The pause on student loan debt payments is running out. For many borrowers, these payments are the size of their rent, their car payments, groceries, or child care. That's going to mean a lot of people making a lot of hard choices.

Do they pay the student loan debt, or do they keep up with their car payments? Do they pay the student loan debt, or do they keep up with their child care?

We have the power to protect borrowers from these hard choices. That's why, alongside Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley, I'm urging President Biden to extend the payment pause and cancel student loan debt.

But I need you to be a part of this effort — because we can only get it done if we fight for it side by side as a grassroots movement. Sign our petition and join me today.

Look: When Americans can't fully participate in our economy because they're strapped with a huge debt burden, we see a ripple effect across our entire economy and a slowdown in economic growth. This affects all of us, including those of us who don't have student loans or have already paid off their student debt.

The pause on payments started last year, at the beginning of this pandemic and economic crisis, because it was clear that the cost of student debt would be yet another huge drag on our economy.

But we're not out of the woods yet, so Senator Schumer, Congresswoman Pressley, and I are calling for an extension for at least six months.

A recent Pew study determined that about two-thirds of borrowers are not ready for payments to resume, and that they will find it difficult to manage their debts. Their student loan burdens are like a sword hanging over their heads: Every day that goes by, that sword draws a little closer.

And the choice about what to pay will fall hardest on the most vulnerable among us: 40% of those with student loan debt do not have a diploma, including the majority of Black borrowers. That means they are paying for college on a high school graduate's wages.

Danielle, solving the student loan debt crisis is a matter of economic justice and it is a matter of racial justice. The President of the United States can remove the sword and prevent this pain by extending the pause AND by cancelling $50,000 in student loan debt — wiping out all debt for about 36 million Americans, or 85% of all borrowers.

Add your name to join me, Senator Schumer, and Congresswoman Pressley in urging President Biden to pick up a pen and extend the payment pause, cancel student loan debt, and improve the lives of tens of millions of Americans while growing our whole economy.

Thanks for being a part of this,

Elizabeth

Thank you, Danielle

Thank you for everything you've done to fight by Elizabeth's side. Because of grassroots supporters like you, she's able to stand strong in Washington and fight for a government that works for working people.
Warren Democrats

Danielle,

Thank you for everything you've done to fight by Elizabeth's side.

Because of grassroots supporters like you, she's able to stand strong in Washington and fight for a government that works for working people.

We've shown that when a lot of people pitch in a little bit at a time, we can elect leaders who are accountable to the people — not billionaires, corporations, and powerful special interests.

Saturday's monthly fundraising deadline is our next test as a grassroots movement. We only have a few days left to hit our goal — and your support would make a real difference.

If it makes sense for you, will you chip in $15 to help re-elect Elizabeth, support champions for working people up and down the ballot, and grow our grassroots movement?

If you've saved payment info with ActBlue Express, your donation will process automatically:

Your donation will put wind in our sails as we fight to cancel student debt, ensure access to universal child care and early learning, make the rich and powerful pay their fair share, and put power in the hands of working people.

Elizabeth will keep up the fight in Washington, but we need to elect more Democrats like her at every level of government — and we can't let Republicans and their billionaire buddies take back control.

Please make a contribution if you can today to help hit this goal before Saturday's end-of-July grassroots fundraising deadline. Every donation goes a long way to re-elect Elizabeth and power our fight for big, structural change.

Thanks for everything,

Team Warren

The right Democrat to beat Rand Paul in Kentucky

The balance of power in the Senate can be shifted by a single seat. If Democrats lose any ground in the 2022 midterms, Republicans can take back control of the chamber and bring President Biden's agenda to a grinding halt.
Warren Democrats

Danielle,

Right now, the balance of power in the Senate can be shifted by a single seat. If Democrats lose any ground in the 2022 midterms, Republicans can take back control of the chamber and bring President Biden's agenda to a grinding halt.

It's more important than ever that we get organized and invest in candidates who can protect and expand our majority next year. That's why I am very happy to endorse Charles Booker for U.S. Senate.

Charles is the right Democrat to beat Rand Paul in Kentucky. He's campaigning on a bold progressive agenda that does right by working families and makes sure that billionaires and big corporations pay their fair share.

And Charles isn't just talking the talk. He fights from the heart because he knows what's at stake for working people in the choices that our leaders make. He grew up in one of Kentucky's lowest-income ZIP codes. Sometimes, he went hungry. Sometimes, he had to ration his insulin.

Now, he's fighting for a country where everyone, not just the wealthy and well-connected, has a chance to thrive — in Kentucky and across the country. I couldn't be prouder to offer my support for his campaign. That's why today, I'm asking for your help.

If you can, please split a donation between Charles' campaign and Warren Democrats today. Your contribution will make a powerful difference ahead of Charles' first end-of-month fundraising deadline in a few days.

You might be thinking. Gee, isn't Kentucky a red state? Isn't it going to be hard to win? Well, let me tell you a little story.

When I first ran for office in 2012, there were plenty of naysayers who didn't think I couldn't win. My opponent was a popular Republican with buckets and buckets of campaign cash from Wall Street. And a woman had never won as Senator or Governor in Massachusetts before.

But then someone told me something different: "If we don't run, if we don't try, we can't win. And we can't blaze a trail for the next person who comes along either."

So I got into the fight. We got organized. We built the biggest grassroots campaign Massachusetts had ever seen. And we proved the naysayers wrong: We won by 7.5 points.

Kentucky is a state that's ready for big, structural change. And Charles is that special leader who can bring together a winning coalition and flip this seat to help us hold, or better yet expand, our lead in the U.S. Senate. But he can't do it without a strong grassroots team at his side.

If you can, please split a donation today before Charles' very first end-of-month fundraising deadline. Your contribution could make a real difference.

Here's the way I see it, Danielle, when I think about races like these: as Democrats, we don't get anywhere by only taking on fights that we know we're going to win. We take on tough fights because that is a measure of who we are. And Kentucky is winnable. But we don't get what we don't fight for.

Thanks for being a part of this,

Elizabeth
