If we win these two Senate races, we're already halfway to taking back the majority
We need to flip four seats to secure a majority. And we can get halfway there by electing Jon Ossoff in Georgia and Adrian Perkins in Louisiana.
Danielle,
Watching this week's illegitimate Supreme Court confirmation hearings, one thing has been clear: it's never been more important for Democrats to take back the Senate.
So that's what I'd like to focus on in this email.
We need to flip four seats to secure a majority. And we can get halfway there by electing Jon Ossoff in Georgia and Adrian Perkins in Louisiana.
They're both running strong campaigns to defeat Republican incumbents. They could both use a big burst of grassroots donations right now to fight back against Republican attacks. And I know that this team is ready to fight by their side.
As a mayor, veteran, and Bronze Star recipient, Adrian Perkins knows firsthand how to lead in times of crisis. He will put people before politics to protect health care, ensure families have access to affordable, high-quality child care, and help solve our climate crisis.
Without taking any contributions from corporate PACs, Adrian has raised money faster than any other first-time Democratic Senate candidate in Louisiana history. And just last year, Louisiana re-elected a sitting Democratic governor for the first time in over 40 years.
We can't win if we don't fight — and I'm very glad to fight by Adrian's side.
In Georgia, Jon Ossoff is building a grassroots campaign that's turned this race into a toss-up. He's served Georgia families as an aide on Capitol Hill, he's helped expose corruption as an investigative journalist, and he's ready to fight for health care, clean energy, and economic relief for working people as a U.S. Senator.
Adrian, Jon, and Warren Democrats up and down the ballot are counting on grassroots donors like you to power them to victory.
