Every Republican in Congress voted against this. Democrats had to get this done all by ourselves with our razor-thin majorities in Congress.
Warren Democrats

Danielle, yesterday President Biden officially signed the Inflation Reduction Act into law — finally making investments in saving our planet, lowering health care and energy costs for families, getting giant corporations to stop freeloading, and fighting inflation.

Now, let's remember: Every Republican in Congress voted against this. Democrats had to get this done all by ourselves with our razor-thin majorities in Congress.

Throughout the process to get this legislation passed, the Republican party put themselves on record as the party of "no."

No to fighting climate change. No to lowering utility bills and prescription drug costs. No to cracking down on freeloading corporations and wealthy tax cheats. No to capping the price of insulin to $35 a month. No to using their positions to actually make change for working people.

Danielle, we can't let "the party of no" claw their way back into power in this year's midterms. But we're going to have to fight, because our Democratic majority hangs by a thread. November will be here before we know it, and early investments we make now will determine the outcome.

Elizabeth is in this fight all the way — but we need to build our momentum now to win in November. If you can, will you pitch in $15 to help expand our majorities by getting more Warren Democrats elected?

Even though we've taken big strides with the Inflation Reduction Act, there's still work we need to do to pass universal child care, protect voting rights, and put power in the hands of working people.

There's one way to make it easier to get this done: expand our Democratic majorities.

And there's one way to guarantee that nothing else gets done: allowing Mitch McConnell and Kevin McCarthy to grab the reins.

A Democratic Congress — with stronger majorities, and more members who understand what working families need — means we have a chance to keep up the fight. A chance to level the playing field for families. A chance to protect our democracy.

So Elizabeth is going to spend the rest of 2022 fighting to get as much done as possible with the Congress we have now, and working to elect more Warren Democrats up and down the ballot so we can expand our majorities and get more on the table. But she can't do this critical work without strong supporters like you, Danielle.

Our success this November is going to come down to our grassroots organizing and fundraising success now. If it makes sense for you right now, please pitch in $15 or anything you can to support Elizabeth's re-election, get more champions for working people elected, and keep "the party of no" out of power.

Thanks for all you do,

Warren Democrats
