| The total solar eclipse in Sagittarius occurs on December 14th, days before some of the most important astrology of the year. Both a visually spectacular event and an astrologically potent one, in Sagittarius, this eclipse will put an emphasis on our belief systems, our laws, the ways in which we travel (or not), and our educational institutions. Occurring near the south node, this eclipse signals a moment of personal and collective release and change. If we need it, it offers the kind of restructuring that can steer our lives towards a more honest and meaningful direction. On December 21st, right after the solstice, Jupiter and Saturn will form what is known as The Great Conjunction, ushering us into a new era. For the first time in a couple hundred years, this conjunction will take place in a new element, and therefore denotes a paradigm shift.
