| Danielle, As we get ready to face a second Donald Trump presidency, we can sit with our fear, our anger, and our grief — and we can also make plans for how we'll fight back. In the U.S. Senate, for as long as Democrats still have control, I'll keep pushing to confirm as many federal judges as possible, as well as federal regulators who can't be removed by Trump. Next year, I will do everything I can to hold the line against Trump's dangerous nominees and his toxic agenda — including his tax breaks for the rich. We won't always win, but we can slow or sometimes limit Trump's destruction. With every fight, we can build political power to put more checks on his administration and build the foundation for future wins. And we can't win if we don't fight. I want to hear from you, Danielle: How are you planning to stay in the fight? It could mean getting more involved with a local group, volunteering your time for a political campaign, running for office yourself, or all the above. Please fill in this quick survey to let me know. It should only take a couple of minutes, and it will give me a good sense of how this team intends to stay mobilized in the weeks, months, and years to come. When we link arms, we make each other stronger. When we make commitments to ourselves about the actions we plan to take, we reinforce our determination. And when we share those plans with the people in our lives, we make our persistence contagious. We spread hope. So I hope you can take a moment to fill in this survey, let me know your thoughts, and tell someone else about your plans as well. We are in this together. Thanks for being a part of this, Elizabeth | | | |
