Danielle, plain and simple: If Democrats lose in Nevada, it's going to be really, really tough — almost impossible — to hold onto our Senate majority.

My friend and colleague Senator Jacky Rosen is up for re-election in Nevada this year — and she has been identified as one of the most vulnerable women in the Senate.

The GOP came within just 10,000 votes of winning Nevada's Senate election in 2022 — a margin of 1%. That means the work and investments we put in right now to reach, persuade, and turn out voters in the state are going to determine the outcome in November.

When I first met her, I knew Jacky was a fighter. She hasn't had anything handed to her. She worked as a cocktail waitress to help put herself through college, and when she started as a computer programmer, she worked as a banquet waitress on the side to pay the bills.

Now she's a force to be reckoned with in Washington — fighting for affordable health care, protections for Nevada's beautiful natural environment (a place Bruce and I love to go hiking), and the right to an abortion.

Let's keep Jacky Rosen in the fight. Let's win this battleground race. And let's keep Republicans far, far, far away from a Senate majority, which they could use to ban abortion nationwide, slash Social Security and Medicare, and hand more tax breaks to billionaires and billionaire corporations.
