Danielle, We're in the final stretch of the midterms — and we need all hands on deck to get out the vote for Democrats. One powerful way to help out and make a difference this weekend — no matter where you are — is by volunteering your time to make calls and connect with voters in key battleground states. The DNC is hosting phone banks via Zoom all weekend (and on Monday and Tuesday!) and if you're new to phone banking, you'll get a quick training. Will you sign up for a shift, Danielle? You may or may not know that I love to call people on the phone — preferably while sitting on my porch or posting up at my kitchen counter. It's a great way to connect and share stories about what brings us into this fight. Joining a phone bank and talking with voters over the phone is one of the most important things you can do right now to help Democrats win next week. So what do you say, Danielle? Can you pitch in some time and sign up for a phone bank shift before the big day? Everything's on the ballot this year — abortion rights, an economy that works for working people, Social Security, Medicare, climate, our very democracy — so everything's on the line in the next few days. It's time to leave it all out on the field. Thank you for everything you've already done in this fight. Elizabeth P.S. I'll be joining the 8 p.m. ET phone bank on Monday, November 7. I hope I'll see you there! |
