This extremist Supreme Court has a legitimacy crisis

The Republican party has been scheming this takeover for decades.

Danielle,

This extremist Supreme Court has a legitimacy crisis on their hands.

We've reached a point where the Court has been hijacked by right-wing extremists and they are imposing their deeply unpopular views upon the rest of our country — from overturning Roe v. Wade and loosening gun safety restrictions to reversing environmental protections.

And the Republican party has been scheming this takeover for decades — yes, Mitch McConnell, I'm looking at you.

But an out-of-touch, out-of-control Court doesn't get the last word. We the people do.

Congress has an obligation to step in to protect our democracy from this rogue Court. And I'm going to keep speaking out on the big-idea, bold measures we need to take to stop this injustice — like expanding the Supreme Court to rebalance it, ending the filibuster to codify Roe, and fixing the Electoral College.

At the same time, we've also got to build stronger majorities up and down the ballot so that we can defend abortion rights, and so our democracy actually reflects the will of the people.

If you're angry like I am that the Supreme Court has gotten this far out of sync with American values, own your anger. Take a moment to sit with it. Then square your shoulders and channel it into determination.

If you're able to, please chip in any amount to fuel our campaign and build our movement to elect pro-democracy and pro-abortion rights candidates up and down the ballot — and you'll receive a free "Angry and Determined" sticker.
