Over time

We have to keep up the fight. We need to defend and expand our razor-thin majorities in 2022 — because everything we're working on in Washington right now would be a whole lot easier if we had more Democrats in office.
Warren Democrats

Danielle,

I'm deeply grateful for every grassroots donor who chips in to help power our movement — because funding our campaign from the grassroots level makes a powerfully important difference.

Over time, a democracy with political campaigns funded by a small number of people who can contribute a lot of money looks very different from a democracy with campaigns funded by a large number of people who chip in a little at a time.

It's the difference between a government that works great for those at the top and a government that can work for everyone.

With a grassroots-funded movement, we can fight back against powerful interests like the gun lobby, Big Pharma, and fossil fuel giants who've used their deep pockets to block change.

Together, we'll fight not just to expand our majority in the Senate and the House, but also to elect progressives up and down the ballot who will work to fundamentally change who our government works for.

If you're able to, will you pitch in $15 or whatever makes sense by the end of the day? Our monthly fundraising deadline is at midnight. Your donation will support our re-election campaign and help elect champions for working people up and down the ballot.

If you've saved payment info with ActBlue Express, your donation will process automatically:

In the last election cycle, grassroots donors raised record amounts of money to flip the Senate and White House. Now, our toes are on the line to make big, structural change — to loosen the stranglehold of big money on our democracy.

But we have to keep up the fight. We need to defend and expand our razor-thin majorities in 2022 — because everything we're working on in Washington right now would be a whole lot easier if we had more Democrats in office.

And now that we know what Republicans' first priorities are if they win — raising taxes on working people and seniors, dismantling the Department of Education, slashing the budget of the IRS so they can't go after wealthy tax cheats — it's even more important that we boost our election organizing efforts now.

Please make a donation if you can to support Warren Democrats before tonight's grassroots fundraising deadline — and help change who our government works for.

Thanks for being a part of this,

Elizabeth

Republicans want to raise taxes on half the country — working-class and middle-class families, along with seniors on Social Security.

Last week, the head of the Senate GOP campaign committee finally rolled out their big policy agenda for the 2022 midterm elections — and it's a doozy.
Warren Democrats

Danielle,

Last week, the head of the Senate GOP campaign committee finally rolled out their big policy agenda for the 2022 midterm elections — and it's a doozy.

Republicans want to raise taxes on half the country — working-class and middle-class families, along with seniors on Social Security. While there's still a global pandemic going on, and working people are struggling to make ends meet.

Danielle, that's just the tip of the iceberg. The eleven-point plan also calls to eliminate the Department of Education, threaten voting rights, and cut the IRS budget in half — setting our country back decades and making it easier for wealthy tax cheats to get away with paying less than their fair share.

So if Republicans win back the Senate in November, they'd rig the rules even further in favor of the wealthy and well-connected. We cannot let that happen.

Can you pitch in $15 today ahead of tomorrow's grassroots fundraising deadline to support our progressive movement and help elect Warren Democrats up and down the ballot?

This isn't the first time we've seen such drastic views from Republicans, and it won't be the last. From the future of our climate to access to reproductive freedoms, so much is at stake ahead of the midterms, and the GOP is willing to do anything to win — we must fight back.

And we can — with a grassroots movement powered by grassroots donors. Every single donation helps strengthen this team so we can protect and expand our razor-thin Democratic majorities in Congress — and we need to hit every single monthly goal.

Danielle, can can you pitch in $15 or whatever makes sense before tomorrow's monthly grassroots fundraising deadline? Your donation will help re-elect Elizabeth and help elect more champions for working people across the country.

Thanks for everything,

Warren Democrats

Danielle, if you can, please make a donation by Monday’s deadline to help hit our February fundraising goal — and help keep up the fight

We don't get what we don't fight for. We're up against a lot of problems. And so many of them have been inflicted on our nation by Washington Republicans:
Warren Democrats

Danielle,

I'll be blunt: We're up against a lot of problems.

And so many of them have been inflicted on our nation by Washington Republicans:

  • An extremist Supreme Court signaling that it is ready to overturn Roe v. Wade.
  • Big Pharma driving up prices for drugs and forcing some families to choose between taking their medications and putting food on the table.
  • Republicans defending the Big Lie that Trump won the election — and The Bigger Lie that the armed attack on our Capitol that left 150 Capitol police injured, windows broken, and feces spread on the walls was "legitimate political discourse."

Yeah, there's a lot of trouble in our nation. There are threats to our safety, to our economic security, to our health, and to our very democracy. And when there's this much trouble, we can whimper. We can whine. Or we can fight back. Me? I'm fighting back.

The first step in fighting back is defeating Republicans and electing Democrats up and down the ticket. And our next big test is Monday's monthly grassroots fundraising deadline. These midterm elections are powerfully important, and every donation puts this team in a better position to win.

Danielle, if it makes sense for you right now, will you pitch in $15 or whatever you can to support our re-election campaign and boost Democrats across the country?

With a strong Democratic majority — a real Democratic majority — in Congress, we can deliver. We can…

  • Bypass the Supreme Court and protect the rule of Roe v. Wade by passing federal legislation.
  • Break the stranglehold Big Pharma has on our nation and negotiate the price of drugs.
  • Strengthen our democracy and make sure every American citizen has the right to vote and to get that vote counted.

We can do this. We can make sure that our country isn't only working for people at the top, but for everyone. But only if we fight side by side.

Look: I won't sugarcoat what we're up against. Our progressive values are under siege from powerful interests. The gun lobby. Anti-abortion rights extremists. Big Pharma. Fossil fuel giants. All using their deep pockets to block progressive change. All hoping that we'll get so frustrated we just tune out. Yeah, right.

We don't get what we don't fight for — and we're going to keep up the fight. We're going to elect tough, progressive Democrats across the country. And if we fight together, if we persist together, we will win together.

Please make a donation today if you can to help hit our February fundraising goal — and help keep up the fight.

Thanks for being a part of this,

Elizabeth

Have you heard about Jeff Bezos’s latest stunt?

Ultra-millionaires and billionaires like Jeff Bezos make it clear every single day how much a wealth tax could do for the future of our country.
Warren Democrats

Danielle,

Ultra-millionaires and billionaires like Jeff Bezos make it clear every single day how much a wealth tax could do for the future of our country.

Bezos's latest stunt? His brand-new, 417-foot superyacht is too massive to pass underneath a historic Dutch bridge, so it looks like they're going to have to dismantle the bridge at his bidding.

That's a doozy of a sentence, Danielle. 417-foot superyachts? Dutch bridges? I totally get that Jeff Bezos can do whatever he wants with his money. But using his enormous wealth in such gaudy ways after years of systematically paying less than his fair share in taxes — he paid literally nothing in federal income taxes in 2007 and 2011 — is a blatant gut punch to the tens of millions of Americans who pay what they owe while struggling to make ends meet.

Here's the way I see it: If someone can afford a yacht big enough that it calls for tearing down a bridge, that someone can also afford to pay his fair share of taxes to invest in things like building bridges, repairing roads, and ensuring universal child care. No questions asked.

Add your name if you agree it's time for a wealth tax that makes ultra-millionaires and billionaires like Jeff Bezos finally pay their fair share.

Jeff Bezos isn't the only ultra-wealthy person to recently indulge in an oversized boat — in fact, superyacht sales jumped by 77 percent last year.

Contrast that number with the 84 percent of parents who said in a September 2021 survey that they're overwhelmed by the cost of child care. I don't think we need much more proof that our economy has worked better and better for the rich and powerful, and worse and worse for everyone else.

A wealth tax is powerfully important in our fight to level the playing field. Our plan calls for a two-cent-per-dollar tax on people with a net worth above $50 million, and just a few cents more for the billionaires. That small tax would generate revenue totaling at least $3 trillion, funds that can go such a long way in dismantling the systemic opportunity gaps that have long persisted in this country.

These ultra-millionaires and billionaires could stand to spare a few cents and give everyone else a chance. Add your name to support our plan for a wealth tax, and help build the grassroots support that we'll need from across the country to pass it in Washington.

Thanks for being a part of this,

Elizabeth

My new bipartisan plan to ban members of Congress from owning and trading individual stocks:

The American people deserve to have complete confidence that members of Congress are making decisions based on what's best for the country — not what's best for those lawmakers' own personal finances.
Warren Democrats

Danielle,

I think this is pretty basic, but apparently it's a newsflash to some people in Washington:

The American people deserve to have complete confidence that members of Congress are making decisions based on what's best for the country — not what's best for those lawmakers' own personal finances.

So we need to ban members of Congress from owning and trading individual stocks.

I'm coming out with a new bill to do exactly that — and it's already got bipartisan support. Now, to get it over the finish line, we need to show that the American people are demanding action.

Danielle, will you add your name to say you support our plan? This is part of how we put Washington on the side of families, not just the rich and powerful.

Remember: Not so long ago, Republican Senators Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue played down the danger of COVID-19 in public while privately trading stocks to profit from the pandemic. They both lost their re-election campaigns, but the potential for conflicts of interest still lurks around Capitol Hill — and we've got to clear it out.

Now, let's be clear — I'm more than ready to go even further than this plan. My larger bill to root corruption out of Washington would ban Cabinet secretaries, federal judges (including Supreme Court justices), and other top officials from owning and trading individual stocks.

But this bipartisan plan, focused on Congress, is a straightforward first step. And there's real momentum behind it right now.

Here's how the ban would work:

  • After a short transition period, members of Congress and their spouses won't be allowed to own or trade individual stocks.
  • Instead, they can put their money in conflict-free investments like diversified mutual funds.
  • And if they break the rules, they'll have to pay a $50,000 fine per violation.

It's clear and sharp. It says that senators and representatives shouldn't be able to write laws to enrich themselves. And anyone who isn't ready to follow these basic rules can pick a new line of work.

Danielle, I've been working on this issue for years, and I believe we're closer than ever to making it happen. Republicans and Democrats are working together to say enough is enough. Now is the moment for everyone to raise their voices.

Add your name to say you support my bipartisan plan to ban members of Congress from owning and trading individual stocks — and let's make it happen, side by side.

Thanks for being a part of this,

Elizabeth
