The outsized influence of special interest money in elections is wrong — and when we fight back as a grassroots movement, we can make positive change for working people. Just look at what we've accomplished together so far. We've lowered drug costs with $35 insulin for seniors and Medicare drug negotiations. We've made the biggest investment in clean energy and combating climate change — paid for in large part by my minimum tax of the profits of billionaire corporations. We're rebuilding our infrastructure right here in Massachusetts — roads, transit and bridges, including over a billion dollars for the Cape Cod Bridges, one of the single largest federal investments in bridges in American history right here in the Commonwealth. We've got a lot done, but look: there is more work to do. I'm fighting to lower the costs of housing and child care — some of the biggest pain points for families. I've got plans to get it done, and I've demonstrated that I know how to deliver. And understand this: the future of the Senate and who governs next year could be decided by a single Senate seat. And crypto interests and billionaires are trying to buy this one in Massachusetts. One vote can make all the difference and put Republicans in control of the Senate. What's at stake? The Supreme Court. A nationwide abortion ban. Tax giveaways for billionaires. Deep cuts to education, Social Security, Medicare, and more. Whether Donald Trump has any accountability if he is elected president. After all, one vote was the difference in $35 insulin for seniors. One vote was the difference in Medicare negotiations for drug prices. One vote was the difference in my minimum tax on massive corporate profits to fund climate investments. We don't have a single seat to spare, and we don't have a single moment to waste before November. As crypto billionaires and special interests do everything they can to try to defeat me, we've got to be ready to respond. Will you make a donation right now to help fight back against all the attacks that come our way, win this Senate race, and preserve our Democratic majority? Thanks for being a part of this, Elizabeth |
