| Danielle, last night Donald Trump was found guilty of falsifying business records and illegally influencing the 2016 election. Of course, his response is that he's a victim of a corrupt legal system. And this has mobilized his MAGA base — the Trump campaign said they have raised over $34.8 million from small dollar donors since last night's verdict. Danielle, this man is still going to be the Republican nominee for president. And in order to keep him out of the White House, we need to do everything we can to compete against his money, influence, and loyalist base. So can you please split a donation of $100 to support the Biden-Harris campaign and our pro-democracy movement today? Nobody can be surprised about this reaction. When the election did not come out the way Donald Trump wanted in 2020, what was his response then? It was violence. It was to undermine our institutions of government. It was to impose a loyalty test on any Republican in public office to either support him or leave. That's what this election is about. While Democrats are fighting to protect our democracy, Republicans are fighting to protect their power. They have made clear they will say whatever they need to say, kiss up to Donald Trump in any way, in order to seize power — even if it means electing the first president who has been convicted of a crime. This is about who you trust to be the leader of this country. And I trust Joe Biden. So please, rush a donation of $100 or anything you can so we can compete against their $34 million haul and fight for our democracy. Thanks for being a part of this, Elizabeth | | | |
