Bailey and I have always loved Halloween, and this year is no different (you can scroll down to see his costume for tonight).

But before the festivities begin, I wanted to take a moment to talk about something else happening today: our monthly fundraising deadline.

Every donation helps push back against MAGA Republicans — and there's nothing quite as scary as their extremist agenda, Danielle.

They pose a very real threat to working families across the country. They want to ban abortion nationwide, slash funding for child care, cut taxes for the ultra-wealthy, gut Social Security and Medicare, and rig the rules against working families.

And if they gain any more power next year, they'll not only slam the brakes on our whole agenda, they'll work to aggressively reverse the progress Democrats have been making.

That's why I'm running for re-election. I'll keep standing up to special interests and fighting back against the GOP's extreme positions — while also calling for the big, structural changes that working families need. Changes like ensuring universal child care. Passing a wealth tax. Making the Supreme Court follow a basic code of ethics. Ending the filibuster to ensure abortion rights and enact gun safety laws across the country.
