Danielle, we wanted to give you an update on where things stand with Elizabeth's re-election campaign. The truth is, we don't have a challenger in Massachusetts yet, but that could change any moment, and we need to be prepared to run a competitive race no matter what. When she first ran for Senate, she started out 17 points down from the popular Republican incumbent who had truckfulls of campaign cash from Wall Street. Massachusetts had never elected a woman to the U.S. Senate before — and a lot of people thought we still weren't ready to elect one in 2012. But Elizabeth campaigned hard. She called out how our system is rigged for the wealthy and well-connected and against everyone else. And we won — by 7.5 points. Since then, Elizabeth has been up against some powerful special interests trying to stop her and our movement: extremist Republicans, Big Pharma, Big Oil, and Big Banks who use their deep pockets to try to block change. But we've been able to make positive changes, like passing a new tax on massive corporate profits, lowering the cost of hearing aids, getting student loan debt cancelation to President Biden's desk, pressuring Wells Fargo executives into resigning after their fake accounts scandal, and much more. Elizabeth is running for re-election because there's a lot more we've got to do to make our government work for everyone in Massachusetts and across the country, not just the wealthy and well-connected. And no matter what happens next in this race, she needs your support in order to campaign for our plans and keep up this fight. We won before because we built a grassroots movement, and that's how we'll keep up the fight for big, structural change. Will you pitch in $100 or anything you can to re-elect Elizabeth Warren, help compete against any potential challenger, and keep her fighting in the Senate?
