Holding and expanding our narrow majorities

We've shown that when a lot of people pitch in a little bit at a time, we can elect leaders who are accountable to the people — not billionaires, corporations, and powerful special interests. Tonight's FEC fundraising deadline is a big test as a grassroots movement. We only have a few hours left to hit our goal — and your support would make a real difference in the impact we'll be able to make in November.
Warren Democrats

Danielle,

Thank you for everything you've done to fight by Elizabeth's side.

Because of grassroots supporters like you, she's able to stand strong in Washington and fight for a government that works for working people.

If it makes sense for you, will you make your first contribution in 2022 to Warren Democrats and help re-elect Elizabeth, support champions for working people up and down the ballot, and grow our grassroots movement?

At the same time as she fights to pass policies that put power in the hands of working people, Elizabeth is keeping an eye on the elections this year — because the midterms will be an uphill battle.

If we lose just one Senate seat, Mitch McConnell becomes majority leader and obstructionist-in-chief again. If we lose just a handful of House seats, Kevin McCarthy will be doing Donald Trump's bidding from the Speaker's office, and our progressive agenda will come to a screeching halt. And critical down ballot races across the country will determine how our local communities are led for years to come.

So let's make sure we win.

Early grassroots support now — before our first FEC fundraising deadline of the year — will go the furthest to make sure Democrats hold onto our narrow majorities in the House and Senate.

Please make a contribution if you can today to help hit this goal before tonight's first FEC deadline of 2022. Every donation goes a long way to re-elect Elizabeth and power our fight for big, structural change — at the national and local level.

Thanks for everything,

Team Warren

Ginni and Clarence Thomas

Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal and I are leading 22 of our House and Senate colleagues in a letter to Clarence Thomas and Chief Justice John Roberts. We're calling on Clarence Thomas to recuse himself from any more cases on the attempted coup his wife participated in. And we're demanding that John Roberts establish a basic, binding Code of Ethics for Supreme Court justices — can you believe that doesn't exist already?
Warren Democrats

We got some explosive news last week, Danielle.

It was already clear that Ginni Thomas — who's married to Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas — was involved in Donald Trump's attempt to overturn the 2020 elections. But now, new reporting exposes how far she went.

Newly released texts from Ginni Thomas to Trump's chief of staff show her spreading false theories about the election, urging him to pull off a coup, and trying to give him pointers.

And here's where Clarence Thomas comes in: earlier this year, he was the only Supreme Court justice to vote against requiring that Trump White House records be turned over to the January 6th House Select Committee. Records that might have included those texts from his wife.

But he didn't disclose anything about his connection to the case, and he sure didn't recuse himself. He may have violated federal conflict-of-interest law.

Your support means a lot in this fight, Danielle. Add your name if you agree: Clarence Thomas can't participate in any more cases about the efforts to overturn the 2020 election, and it's way past time for the Supreme Court to have to follow a basic Code of Ethics.

I've been in this fight for a long time to clear up conflicts of interest at the Supreme Court — and with you by my side, I'm going to stay in it.

Thanks for being a part of this,

Elizabeth

Here’s what hitting this goal will mean

Every three months, we set a target for how much we need to raise before we publish our fundraising numbers with the FEC. Hitting this target will mean we can make the investments we need to do our part and help expand Democratic majorities in the midterm and get working class champions elected down the ballot across the country. We've got less than two days left to hit that goal. We haven't quite gotten there yet — so I'm asking if you can make a contribution today.
Warren Democrats

Danielle,

I'll just be blunt: I'm going to ask if you can pitch in with a donation before tomorrow's FEC deadline.

Here's just a little background: Every three months, we set a target for how much we need to raise before we publish our fundraising numbers with the FEC. Hitting this target will mean we can make the investments we need to do our part and help expand Democratic majorities in the midterm and get working class champions elected down the ballot across the country.

We've got less than two days left to hit that goal. We haven't quite gotten there yet — so I'm asking if you can make a contribution today.

If it makes sense for you right now, please chip in $15 before tomorrow's midnight deadline to support our re-election campaign and elect more Warren Democrats.

Every donation makes us stronger as a grassroots movement. More ready to take on the big fights. More equipped to elect Democrats up and down the ballot and make big, structural change.

And grassroots donors like you make it clear that we can power our campaigns without relying on big money — so we can put Washington to work for working people.

We're building this team the right way — person to person, shoulder to shoulder. But it's only possible if a lot of people pitch in a little at a time to build something big.

Will you make a $15 donation to help hit this goal before the FEC deadline tomorrow at midnight?

Thanks for being a part of this,

Elizabeth

How much work we can do in the midterm elections depends on hitting this goal

Every donation is another sign that we're in this fight by Elizabeth's side — to root out corruption out of Washington, hold billionaire CEOs and powerful interests accountable when they cheat people, and deliver results like quality, affordable child care and canceling student debt. And every $3 goes a long way towards hitting this goal for the first part of the year.
Warren Democrats

We'll keep this quick, Danielle:

We're still just a little bit short of our first quarter fundraising goal of the midterm year, and the FEC grassroots fundraising deadline is quickly coming right up at midnight Thursday.

Can you chip in $15 or whatever makes sense for you to help re-elect Elizabeth and grow our movement for big, structural change?

Our first chance to show our movement’s strength in the midterms

Every three months, we publish our fundraising numbers after the quarterly FEC deadline. The first deadline of 2022 is coming up this week, and this is our chance to show that our grassroots momentum is only getting stronger as we head into the midterm elections.
Warren Democrats

Danielle,

I'm deeply grateful for every grassroots donor who chips in to help power our movement — because funding our campaign from the grassroots level makes a powerfully important difference.

Over time, a democracy with political campaigns funded by a small number of people who can contribute a lot of money looks very different from a democracy with campaigns funded by a large number of people who chip in a little at a time.

It's the difference between a government that works great for those at the top and a government that can work for everyone.

With a grassroots-funded movement, we can fight back against powerful interests like the gun lobby, Big Pharma, and fossil fuel giants who've used their deep pockets to block change.

And every three months, we publish our fundraising numbers after the quarterly FEC deadline. The first deadline of 2022 is coming up this week, and this is our chance to show that our grassroots momentum is only getting stronger as we head into the midterm elections.

If you're able to, will you pitch in $15 or whatever makes sense by the March 31 deadline? Your donation will support our re-election campaign and help elect champions for working people up and down the ballot.

In the last election cycle, grassroots donors raised record amounts of money to flip the Senate and White House. Now, our toes are on the line to make big, structural change — to loosen the stranglehold of big money on our democracy.

But we have to keep up the fight. We need to defend and expand our razor-thin majorities in 2022 — because everything we're working on in Washington right now would be a whole lot easier if we had more Democrats in office. And it would all come screeching to a halt if Republicans take back the House or the Senate.

Please make a donation if you can to support Warren Democrats before Thursday's FEC deadline — and help expand our Democratic majorities and change who our government works for.

Thanks for being a part of this,

Elizabeth
