It would help jumpstart our economy, start to close the racial wealth gap, and begin to right a historic wrong. Over time, our government has shoved more and more of the burden of paying for higher education onto students' shoulders, especially Black and Brown students — at a time when education is more important than ever.
We can lift this burden from tens of millions of Americans' shoulders — as long as we keep up the fight. We each bring our own story to that fight, and Elizabeth wants to hear yours.
