Summer so far

So far (and knock on wood) Sonny has been the best baby. He is a good eater and an even better sleeper...we'll see how he does once he starts coming out of the newborn coma. He is the sweetest boy and is already experiencing what it is like to have a big sister.

It was great to have Mom & Dad here, Rosabelle had so much fun having picnics outside with Grandpa and taking walks with Grandma. They also went to the Zoo and got to meet the Latina icon that is Dora.

Danny and I just had our 6 year wedding anniversary. We celebrated when the 'rents were here so we could leave the kiddos and go out to a nice dinner, but Danny did get me some beautiful blue hydrangeas like we had at our wedding.

And Rosabelle finally got her stitches out! She was kinda freaked when the doctor was coming at her with the tweezers, but she was a brave girl. Afterward she just kept saying "that was pretty scary". Now we have been talking about scars and how everybody has them, but I'm thinking a few months down the road and we won't even be able to see hers, especially once her eyebrow grows back.

Other than that we are just trying to enjoy our first summer on the West side. So far, so good.

You have had quite the summer. Sonny is so dang cute. Can't wait to meet him in ATL...maybe we will have more visitors than I thought via flight layovers.

When will you be in ATL? I hope her eyebrow grows back ok. It reminds me of Derek "accidentally" shaving his. But hers was an accident. Sonny is so cute and getting big. Take a close-up pix of just his feet with your wedding band and Danny's wedding band on his toes before he gets too big.
