Danny's parents were just in from Pittsburgh to meet their new grand baby and Rosabelle laid on the charm. They were instantly smitten and now she has all 4 of her grandparents and great grandma in her pocket.
We had a lot of fun with Dan and Sue. We spent an afternoon in Venice and went to the beach.
We went to the Forest Lawn Cemeterary, which may sound creepy, but is super cool. They have a museum and tons of statues and monuments and a big cathedral not to mention the most celebrities buried there than anywhere else in the world, including Humphrey Bogart, Walt Disney and Jimmy Stewart.
Rosabelle is just such a good baby. I am still suprised by how easy she is to take everywhere. Here we are at dinner...she orded the crab legs.
And of course the trip would not be complete without doing some baby photo shoots. Here's some backyard posing.
A special shout out and thank you to Aunt Jean for the gorgeous blanket, hat and sweater that she made for Rosabelle.
Rosabelle was sad to see them go.
We'll just have to see you on Skype Mamaw and Pap!

One handed blogging
I haven't really had a chance to update my blog since we've come from Spokane so I'm wanted to do a quick post while dinner is in the oven, but Rosabelle is being fairly adamant about not being put down right now so I am making my first attempt at one handed blogging. I actually think I might type faster this way.
Ssshhh...she just fell asleep.
Ok, I was just able to put her down for a nap.
Wait, hang on, I'm being summoned.
Ok, I'm back. In my haste I neglected to swaddle her and sing her favorite lullaby and she quickly let me know I needed to reconcile that. Note to Dan and Sue who are coming to visit this week, brush up on your "Edelweiss".
Anyway, back to Spokane. We had a great visit. Gavin loved his cousin who he called "Cute Rosabelle", he told me he really loved her when her eyes were open, which wasn't that often. Rosabelle got a whirlwind tour of the Inland Northwest, from the Spa in Post Falls:
to Manito Park:
the Spokane River:
Hauser Lake:
Silverwood:
We even squeezed in a wedding reception at Hayden Lake:
But the best part was hanging out at Grandma and Grandpa's with some of the crazy cousins:
We had an awesome trip, but we are happy to be home.

Cousins
We are just having so much fun I'm Spokane that we decided to stay a
few more days and come home on Saturday. Hopefully Danny will make it
that long. Here is Rosabelle with her cousins Grace, Ella and Gavin.
