There might or might not be a picture of Bailey in his Halloween costume at the end of this email

This year, Halloween gives us a chance to take a breath in the middle of an unbelievably eventful election season.

Happy Halloween, Danielle!

I hope that your day includes plenty of treats (to be honest, mine are Mounds), zero tricks (unless they're fun), and lots of quality time with loved ones.

When my kids were little, long before the online shopping days, I'd spend days painting the perfect butterfly wings and hours stitching the perfect Spider-Man mask. I loved every minute of it. These days, I'm on costume duty for Bailey — there might or might not be a picture of him in this year's get-up at the end of this email.

But first, I have to ask you something ahead of tonight's end-of-month fundraising deadline — the last one of our campaign:

Will you pitch in to help hit our final monthly goal before Election Day? $100 or any amount can go a long way to help get out the vote, win this race, protect our Senate majority, and make our government work not just for the rich and powerful but for everyone.

This year, Halloween gives us a chance to take a breath in the middle of an unbelievably eventful election season, where the stakes are incredibly high. For our families. For our freedoms. For our democracy.

But days like Halloween — where we dress up in silly costumes, eat too much candy, and make happy memories with the people we love — also remind us why we're in this fight: to build a future where all of our kids and grandkids can thrive. (Also where all of our pets can thrive, in or out of costume — I'm working to tackle private equity greed in the veterinary industry that's jacking up costs and putting pets in danger).

If I have the honor of winning another term in the U.S. Senate next week, I will stay in the fight to ensure reproductive freedom across the country. To make universal child care a reality. To bring down the cost of housing. To tax the rich. To protect the right to vote and the right to have that vote counted. To make it easier to join a union. To root corruption out of Washington. To put power in the hands of working people.

On the other hand, if Republicans take the Senate and run wild in Washington, there'd be zero opportunity to vote on a law for national abortion protections — in fact, the far right would work to ban abortion nationwide. Deep cuts to Social Security, Medicare, and education funding would be on the table. And we could see one, two, even three new right-wing extremists join the Supreme Court.

Even though it can absolutely feel overwhelming to think about everything looming over us right now, I want you to remember something that Vice President Kamala Harris has been saying across the country: when we fight, we win.

Channel your anxiety into action in the next five days. Deep breaths. Let's get this done.

If it makes sense for you right now, please make a donation of any amount to support our re-election campaign, and help make sure we win.

Happy Halloween, and thanks for being a part of this,

Elizabeth

P.S. Now here's a treat: Bailey, a.k.a. the Tooth Fairy, hopes you're having a happy Halloween, Danielle!

Danielle, we’re in the home stretch.

With only six days to get Elizabeth Warren and VP Harris over the finish line, let's go win this thing.

This is it, Danielle, we're in the home stretch — so Elizabeth Warren said I could send you a note.

In six days, America is going to decide the direction of our country. And I've got to tell you, with so much at stake, I'm proud to be in this fight with Elizabeth.

She is one of the most dedicated fighters for the little guy. She is running for reelection because she understands that there is still more work to be done.

I'll be straight with you: We don't have a lot of time left to get over the finish line. And you can bet that Donald Trump, JD Vance and their extremist Republicans everywhere are going to throw the book at us before this is done.

This election is going to come down to what we do right now.

We're going to need a heck of a lot more support to win this thing and have strong leaders like Elizabeth Warren in the Senate. Time is running out, so will you please split a $100 donation, right now?

We only have six days left, so we need to make them count.

Thank you,

Texas and Florida

Warren for Senate

Danielle, the U.S. Senate race in Texas is within the margin of error right now — and Rep. Colin Allred has a very real chance to defeat Ted Cruz and flip a Senate seat blue.

And in Florida, Democratic challenger Rep. Debbie Mucarsel-Powell is trailing her Republican opponent Rick Scott by just three points in another key pickup opportunity.

That's right: Democrats are competing in Texas and Florida, and grassroots supporters like you are rushing more resources to help power these campaigns to victory during the final sprint to Election Day. If we can win in Texas and Florida, we'll almost certainly maintain our Senate majority.

If you can, please chip in a contribution right now to send support to Rep. Allred in Texas, Rep. Mucarsel-Powell in Florida, and our re-election campaign. We've got to do everything we possibly can to keep our Senate majority — and that means sending resources in flippable states.

Both Colin Allred and Debbie Mucarsel-Powell have run terrific campaigns in Texas and Florida — campaigns that are about centering working people and defending our freedoms.

Rep. Mucarsel-Powell came to the U.S. from South America at a young age with her mom and sisters, fleeing violence and searching for a better life. She worked her way through college and has focused her career on expanding access to health care in Florida. Since being elected to Congress, Debbie has written a bill to expand seniors' Medicare Advantage coverage, worked across the aisle to provide economic relief to families and small businesses, and secured funding for Everglades restoration.

Rep. Allred is a fourth-generation Texan raised by a single mom. In 2018, Rep. Allred defeated a 22-year Republican incumbent to win his seat in the U.S. House, and he has spent his time in Congress working with both parties to deliver real solutions — lowering prescription drug prices, keeping jobs in Texas, establishing a new veterans medical center, and much more.

While Democrats fight to defend Senate incumbents, part of our strategy to defend our majority also involves flipping states like Texas and Florida. We've got to fight and invest in these states so that working people get the representation they deserve in our government. Sending Colin and Debbie to the Senate is within reach — we've got to fight hard for this.

Any contribution you can make right now will boost these critical campaigns in the final stretch. If you're able, split a donation between Colin Allred, Debbie Mucarsel-Powell, and our re-election to help hold our Senate majority and elect champions for working people across the country.

Thanks for being a part of this,

Elizabeth
