Since Abdul won his primary in August, Republican spending has surged. It’s now the most expensive race in Michigan history, and they’re not letting up. Why are they throwing so much at this one specific race? Because Abdul’s message is working, and that terrifies them. I was campaigning with Abdul in Michigan last week, and I saw firsthand the energy he’s building. He’s talking about what working families face every day: prescription drugs that cost too much, rent that keeps climbing, and grocery bills that eat up more of every paycheck. Meanwhile, giant corporations jack up prices, and their wealthy executives keep getting richer. Working families deserve a government that fights for them, not the powerful interests already doing just fine. Abdul is a fighter who has the courage and determination to deliver meaningful change. He’s offering something people haven’t felt from Washington in a long time: hope. He wants to get big money out of politics, lower health care costs, and pass Medicare for All. He knows government should work for working people, not just the wealthy and well-connected. Look, big money is loud, but it isn’t unbeatable. Abdul already proved that. He won his primary while being heavily outspent because people showed up, chipped in, and refused to let anyone buy their election. Now we need to do it again, because this time the stakes are even higher. If Abdul wins, we are one seat closer to a Democratic Senate that can rein in Trump’s corruption, fight for lower costs, and finally hold this administration accountable. If he loses, Republicans get one step closer to locking in their power. Will you split a donation today between Abdul's campaign and this grassroots movement? Every dollar helps organize, reach voters, and fight back against the flood of Republican spending to hold onto their power in Congress. Thank you for being a part of this fight. Elizabeth |
