Another important announcement from me

I’m doubling down on my support

Danielle, earlier this year I announced that I donated over $400,000 from my campaign account to 23 state parties to ensure Democrats win up and down the ballot in November.

I wanted to reach out and share an update: Our team has raised an additional $400,000 to give to state parties in North Carolina, Ohio, Michigan, Maine, Georgia and Alaska.

I’ll share more on my decision below, and if you’re able to pitch in $100 or anything you can to support our campaign, you’ll ensure we can continue investing in taking back our majorities this November.

These six states have some of the most competitive Senate races of the cycle — and I think Democrats can win if we have the resources we need to put up a fight.

We need to gain four seats to take back the Senate, which means we need to put up a strong defense in Michigan and Georgia, AND a strong offense in Maine, North Carolina, Ohio, and Alaska.

This is how we fight back — hiring organizers, airing ads, and reaching out to more voters.

Because Democrats can’t just talk the talk about the midterm elections being critical. We have to put our money where our mouth is.

Republicans certainly are.

Billionaire donors and giant corporations are giving them buckets of money they can use to cling onto their power in the midterms.

That’s why I’m doubling down on my support for these state parties.

This team has now helped contribute over $800,000 to state parties across the country. Because this is what it takes to stop Trump’s corruption and get our government to work for working people.

If you can, please pitch in $100 or whatever you can to support projects like this one. And let’s win big.

Despite how obsessed Donald Trump, JD Vance, and the Republican party seem to be about birth rates, they’re not doing anything to actually support mothers.

Danielle,

This Mother's Day, I'm thinking about my mother — how she dug deep to take care of our family after my daddy had a heart attack.

I’m thinking about every mama out there fighting to care for her family right now.

And I’m thinking about how our government stacks the deck against mothers.

Despite how obsessed Donald Trump, JD Vance, and the Republican party seem to be about birth rates and being the party of “family values,” they’re not doing anything to actually support mothers and families. In fact, they’re doing the opposite.

  • They cut Medicaid, which covers more than 4 in 10 births in this country. Medicaid covers nearly two-thirds of births for Black mothers.
  • Despite the average family paying about 20% of their income on child care alone in 2025, they’re doing nothing to make this essential lifeline more affordable. Trump himself said “We can't take care of daycare. We're a big country. We're fighting wars. It's not possible for us to take care of daycare.” Without quality child care, mothers are being shoved out of the workforce.
  • Their Big, Beautiful Bill cut funding for SNAP benefits — almost 40% of recipients of this food support in 2023 were children.
  • Notably, they’re hellbent on taking away abortion rights nationwide. Most women who get abortions are already mothers. Many are working multiple jobs that don’t pay enough to support their children. Abortion bans make it even harder for those families to make ends meet. And take away a woman’s freedom to decide when and if she raises a family.
  • They’ve fought to defund and close Planned Parenthood clinics — which provide patients with services like cancer screenings, STD and HIV testing, and general wellness checks in addition to abortion services.
  • They're cutting the maternal health programs that keep mothers alive — eliminating Title X, the only federal program designed to give low-income women access to family planning services. They’re defunding the programs that prevent maternal deaths, even as the United States already has the highest maternal mortality rate of any high-income country.
  • The federal minimum wage hasn't budged in 15 years. A full-time minimum wage mother can't afford a two-bedroom apartment in any state in the country right now.
  • And to top it off, they're making it harder to afford housing, groceries, and healthcare in general. By rolling back federal rules, abandoning enforcement actions, eliminating key tax credits, and slashing programs across the government — Trump’s decisions are costing Americans more than $86 billion each year.

What are they saying they’re doing to support mothers?

They're promising thousand-dollar "baby bonuses.” They’ve committed to making IVF treatments cheaper — calling Trump "the fertilization president." And they’ve floated the idea of a "National Medal of Motherhood" for women with six or more children.

A $1,000 baby bonus wouldn't even cover one month's rent for most families.

The Trump administration is working to remove IVF protections for workers — meaning women could be fired for missing work for fertility treatments.

And mothers don’t need a medal — they need structural support.

I'm sure Republican politicians will be waxing poetic today about how much they love mothers. But I don't want to see any tributes from them unless they're going to actually do something — anything — to improve the lives of mothers.

My mother worked hard, stretched every dollar, and fought for her family every single day. That's what mothers do. They deserve a government that fights just as hard for them.

Today, and every day, I’m going to honor my mother and mothers everywhere by fighting for our government to actually pass policies that help mothers and families, not just dangle around shallow incentives.

Thanks for being part of this,

Elizabeth

Nothing will change until we do this

This is an anti-corruption campaign

Danielle, here’s the truth:

Nothing will change until we tackle one specific problem head on: corruption.

Our government has been hijacked by the rich and powerful. It works great for defense contractors. It works great for the gun lobby. It works great for Big Pharma companies. It works great for Big Tech CEOs. It works great for billionaires. It works great for politicians who are willing to sell out to the highest bidder. We have a government that works for those at the top — and only those at the top who are looking to get richer.

Our campaign finance laws enable this. Powerful special interests and billionaires use their piles of money to fund campaigns and support politicians that will block any legislation that threatens their bottom line.

That was true before the Trump era. He took an already rigged system to the extreme.

He is the worst symptom — not the cause — of our corrupt system.

So defeating Trump just to go back to business as usual won't be enough. We need to hold him and his cronies accountable for breaking the law. Then we need to clean up the corruption in Washington to guarantee our government can never be hijacked again.

That’s what I’m focused on.

I’m putting my resources towards winning the midterms in November so that Donald Trump no longer has free reign to do anything he wants.

And I’m urging the Democratic party to adopt aggressive, bold, transformational changes after we win.

I have a long list of plans to root corruption out of Washington. They will impose an enforceable code of conduct on the Supreme Court, require the president and vice president to disclose and divest from any potential financial conflicts of interest, ban all individual stock ownership by members of Congress, padlock the revolving door between lobbyists and government, create a new anti-corruption agency dedicated to enforcing federal ethics laws, get Big Money out of politics, and much more.

We can only make real progress on issues impacting our country if we root out this corruption.

If you’re able, will you pitch in $100 or any amount to help power our anti-corruption campaign? Every donation is another signal that the American people are demanding real change and calling for a country that works for everyone, not just the rich and powerful.

The Melania documentary

Add your name if you want Amazon to give the American people answers

Danielle, I'm finally ready to share my review of the Melania movie with you.

Just kidding.

But in the time I could have spent watching it, I started asking some very serious questions — because what's happening here goes far beyond a documentary.

Here's what we know: Amazon paid $40 million for the rights to the Melania film. Of that, about $28 million goes directly into Melania Trump's pocket.

Amazon reportedly beat the next-highest bidder by a whopping $26 million. But the film didn’t even make $16.6 million at the box office. And it doesn’t appear that Amazon expects to break even. So why would one of the most powerful corporations in the world lose tens of millions of dollars on a movie?

That’s what I want to find out. And I need you by my side to stay on this.

Want to know why Amazon overpaid by tens of millions for a Trump family film while billions in federal favors were also up for consideration? Add your name to join me in demanding answers.

ADD YOUR NAME

Is Jeff Bezos and Amazon willing to do whatever it takes to promote Mrs. Trump’s vanity project because they have a mountain of business pending before the Trump administration?

  • A major FTC antitrust lawsuit that could fundamentally reshape Amazon's business model
  • Foreign trade deals where Amazon lobbied the administration to bully other countries into dropping regulations
  • Corporate tax cuts that have already shaved billions off Amazon's tax bill — last year alone, Amazon's federal tax bill dropped by 87%

Does that sound like it could be a bribe to you? I had the same question.

Federal anti-bribery laws prohibit offering anything of value to elected officials to influence their official acts.

And while we're on the subject of corruption, let’s not forget about the Trump Presidential Library fund.

Amazon, Meta, Paramount, X, and ABC all settled lawsuits with Trump by promising up to $63 million in donations to his presidential library.

But then that fund was mysteriously dissolved. So where did THAT money go?

Not one of those corporations could give a clear answer about where their multimillion-dollar donations are. And Trump certainly isn’t offering up any information on the subject.

If you want answers about Amazon’s payments to the Trump family, add your name here.

Donald Trump has turned the presidency into a nightmare of corruption.

This is exactly what I've been warning about. And I'm not going to stop fighting until we get real answers.

Thanks for being part of this,

Elizabeth

It cannot be overstated how important this race is.

The Cook Political Report moved this race from “Lean Republican” to “Toss Up.

Danielle,

Sherrod Brown is now the official Democratic nominee for Senate in Ohio — and the stage is set for him to take on Republican Jon Husted in the general election.

It cannot be overstated how important this race is. Put plainly: We must win Ohio to flip the Senate and to rein in the chaos for the Trump Administration.

Sherrod is a true fighter for working people. He can win this race because he’s not afraid to call out how the system is rigged in favor of the wealthy and well-connected — and demonstrate how he’s going to tackle the affordability crisis.

His opponent, on the other hand, is just another Trump enabler — whose big accomplishment in the Senate has been to nominate Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize. (Seriously.)

The Cook Political Report moved this race from “Lean Republican” to “Toss Up.” Sherrod has built a strong grassroots movement by his side — but he needs to be able to compete against an onslaught of GOP spending in the next phase of this race. So please, can you split a contribution of $100 or anything you can between our campaigns to guarantee we can take back the Senate?

As Sherrod says himself, he never planned to return to public office. But he sees what’s happening in Washington, and he’s called to jump back in the fight. He’s the exact leader we need at this moment.

I’m so grateful to have you in this fight — and I know Sherrod is too.
