United, Delta, TurboTax, oh my!

Danielle,

United and Delta donated a million dollars to Trump.

Then he killed the rule requiring airlines to compensate you when they cancel your flight.

TurboTax’s parent company donated a million dollars to Trump.

And Trump ended free tax filing directly with the IRS.

Toyota donated a million dollars to Trump.

And what do you know? Trump canceled a CFPB order that would have refunded people who were overcharged.

Those aren’t coincidences, Danielle. That sure looks like pay-to-play. Or put another way: corruption, plain and simple.

And it’s not going to stop on its own.

First, we need to win in November to put an immediate check on Trump’s administration. And then, we need to hold him and his cronies accountable for breaking the law. Then we need to clean up the corruption in Washington to guarantee these kinds of corrupt deals can never happen again.

Every day, Trump takes any opportunity he can to use the presidency to line his own pockets and his family’s, reward his billionaire buddies, and make life harder for working people. We need to call it out, yes, but we also need to actually stop this corruption.

That’s what I’m focused on.
