I was recently on the road in Michigan and Minnesota, where I campaigned with Dr. Abdul El-Sayed and Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan.

In each of these states, crypto billionaires, AI, Big Pharma, AIPAC, and Super PACs are flooding these Senate races with money because they're afraid. They’re afraid of not having Senators in office who will vote with their interests in mind. They’re afraid because Abdul and Peggy want to pass Medicare for All and get Big Money out of politics. They’re afraid of losing the status quo where Washington works for them.

Campaign spending in each of these primaries has reached record-high levels.

These two races are just days away — and we need to do everything we can to ensure Abdul and Peggy have the resources they need to compete against this onslaught of outside spending and dark money ads against them.

The thing is, when these special interests spend millions of dollars on advertisements to persuade voters, their ads don’t even mention the special interests they really represent.

They come in and claim the whole thing is about something completely different and try to hide their identities.

These groups do not care about the voters who actually live in the states they’re blanketing with ads.

It’s dark for our democracy — and it must be stopped.

Voters have a choice that these special interests are trying to distort: We can either elect fighters who will unrig this broken system or pick more of the same failed status quo.
