This news stopped me, and not a lot does these days:

According to the New York Times, the crypto industry PAC called “Fairshake” is planning a $30 million targeted attack against Sherrod for the final 6 weeks, starting yesterday.

Why? Because they want to try to buy a Senate seat and pass laws that will benefit Donald Trump’s and crypto billionaires’ bottom lines – at the expense of families like yours.

I want to do everything I can to make sure Republican opponent Jon Husted, Donald Trump, and their billionaire crypto cronies can’t buy a spot on the Senate floor.

We don’t stop a crypto PAC with our own billionaire spending. We stop them with $15, $25, $50, or $100 – whatever you can give today to support Sherrod’s campaign. When he wraps up this fundraising quarter and the numbers go public, I want to be sure you are the reason we have a fighting chance to win back this Senate seat in Ohio this year.

While Donald Trump raises costs for working people, he’s using the presidency to make himself and his crypto buddies richer. The Clarity Act voted down in Congress last week would have enabled Donald Trump to make his next $1.4 billion in crypto profits while working families in Ohio and across the country struggle to afford everything from groceries to housing to their electricity bills. The bill would have made it easier to shove risky crypto products into your retirement accounts and fuel a crypto crash that would have melted down the economy.

The crypto industry didn’t get the bill they wrote to benefit themselves and Donald Trump. So now they’re coming after Sherrod with a $30 million targeted ad spend.

Democrats will continue doing our part to push back on these bad deals and demand bipartisan crypto legislation where working people get a say, not just industry insiders. But we need Sherrod in the Senate to do it.
