Donald Trump could nominate a total of five — yes, FIVE — justices on the Supreme Court

Danielle, did you know that Donald Trump could appoint two more justices to the Supreme Court?

That would make five — yes, FIVE — justices on the Supreme Court that were nominated by Trump.

Right now, two of the oldest justices on the court — Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas — could retire at any moment.

And when they do, Donald Trump names their replacements. That could mean much younger and much more extreme MAGA Republicans who will be on that bench for decades.

We've already seen what happens when Trump picks justices. Roe v. Wade — gone. Voting rights — gutted. Worker rights — threatened.

Trump's justices have sided, over and over again, with extremists and giant corporations over working people. Now, imagine the damage they could do if there were two more of them?

What do we do about it? We take back the Senate. If Democrats have the Senate majority, we can block his extremist nominees. If Republicans hold the Senate, Trump gets a rubber stamp for any nominee he wants, no questions asked.

These midterms are critical. Not just for us, but for the kids who will inherit this country. For the grandkids who will grow up under the decisions this court makes. For the generations who come after that.
