Danny's Birthday

Last week was Danny's birthday and we had such a fun time. Rosabelle was so excited she kept saying "Happy Birthday, Daddy!" all day, which Danny thought was the best present. He said all he really wanted for his birthday was cake cones, so Rosabelle helped me make them...and they were delicious.

Then since it was Memorial Day weekend and our trio is soon to become a quartet we decided to go away for the weekend to spend some time together. We drove up the coast to the Channel Islands. We played on the beach, swam in the pool and just had fun watching this sweet little girl. There was a super cool playground next to the hotel that was designed as a couple of pirates ships. I used the hipstamatic camera app on my iphone to take a couple of the shots below.

Now we are less than a month away from baby brother's arrival. Danny and Rosabelle are going to Pittsburgh this week so I'm gonna enjoy a quiet weekend by myself and hope baby bro doesn't decide he needs to join me.

Bunny Hop

Sorry for the mass blogging today, but I've been slacking and wanting to catch up. So...Easter! Rosabelle had so much fun with the eggs and basket and especially the candy! Here she is dying eggs in her Jane Fonda inspired outfit. Then Easter morning she loved her basket which was filled with princesses and Thomas and Friends (or as she calls them Blue Thomas and Green Thomas). We had an egg hunt around the house before we went to brunch and went on another egg hunt, which was even better cause these eggs were filled with candy! She was popping those mini candy bars as fast as her little fingers could open them, but her favorite was the candy bracelet...her wrist was green for days. It was a beautiful day and we were so happy to be able to spend it together.

Spring Break!

Danny's sister Natalie brought her kids, Dominick, Denelle & Danica, out to see us for their Spring Break and we had a super time. We rode bikes, played Clue, went to the beach and of course went to Disneyland. It was so great to see them and we miss them a ton. Thanks for coming to visit!
