Sonny - 7 months down the line

Today Sonny turned 7 months old. If I only remember one thing about him as a baby when I reach my senility (probably sooner than later) it will be that he was the happiest baby. I also think that he is aptly named cause this boy is just pure sunshine. We wakes up with such a big smile that it makes my day, even if it is 5 am and he doesn't stop except when Rosabelle pokes him in the eye.

Captain Adorable

In the last few weeks he has gotten serious about his mobility. It may not look that pretty but he can get to where he wants to go, usually to try and put a cord in his mouth.

Sonny loves his sister and going everywhere with her. Rosabelle loves him too but is less enthusiastic about his new hair pulling trick. She even invited him to her tea party today.

This bebe is mucho grande. He is already wearing 12 month clothes. He loves his dad and going to the park:

But is favorite thing is cheering for the Black & Gold with his mom.

We love you Sonny! Go Steelers!

My iPad and other things

I know I've been a blog slacker, but I've barely glanced at my laptop since I got an ipad for Christmas. However, today I went to the apple store and got the camera connection kit so I can get photos from my phone to iPad and the blogger ipad app...so I'm back, yo!

Had an awesome Christmas and the New Year is already cruising by. Here's a few pics from our trip to Spokane, Christmas, some miscellaneous. But really all I want to say going in to this weekend is GO STEELERS!!!!

Moon over Mar Vista

Halloween was so much fun this year! This is the first year Rosabelle has been into it and we did a ton of fun Halloween stuff all month and then killed it this weekend. Mom and Dad were in town on Saturday on their way to San Diego and wanted a preview of the kid's costumes so we went to the carnival at the elementary school. This girl loves to get her face painted. She was talking for weeks about how dad was gonna paint her face like a ballerina clown. And she may or may not be traumatized for life by her first haunted house.

On Halloween morning the kids dressed in their daytime costumes and we went to the farmers market.

Here is Rosabelle's inspiration for her costume, "The Venice Ballerina Clown". It was a huge hit. And we knew that we had moved in a kinda Halloweeny neighborhood, and that people really get into it, but we had no idea. I have never seen so many trick or treaters. I would open the door and there would be 30 kids there. We had to turn out the porch light just so we could finish getting ready and then the streets were mobbed with kids.

Rosabelle had the time of her life trick or treating, she couldn't believe that all these people were just giving her candy and telling her how cute she was. Best day ever.
